Biotin-SS-Azide is a click chemistry biotinylation reagent. This reagent allows the labeling of alkynylated molecules with biotin via copper-catalyzed or copper-free click reaction. Biotin-labeled biomolecules can be bound to avidin or streptavidin for further purification and detection. The disulfide bond in the spacer arm is also cleavable using reducing agents such as TCEP and DTT.
